Pork Tinumis Recipe


Weekends na naman and having meals.prepared at home is good during this time.

Most working parent rely on fast foods or ready to eat meals.

But Mommy and I usually opt for a healthier option lalo na may bata sa bahay but there is still cheat days naman.

Anyways, here is a meal suggestion that you may try this weekends.  Pork Tinumis.

Pork is cooked with blood. There are variations of this dish. Some add talbos ng sampaloc while others used either gourd (upo) or green papaya.

Pork Tinumis

Ingredients:

1/2 kilo pork, cut into bite size
1 small papaya, chopped
1-2 cups pork blood
1 medium sized onion minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp vinegar
2-3 pcs siling pangsigang
Salt to taste

Direction:

1. Saute onion, garlic, and pork until pork turns brown to golden brown.
2. Add papaya. Simmer until the papaya si almost cooked.
3. Pour pork blood and simmer until thickens.
4. Add vinegar and continue simmer for 2-3 minutes
6. Add the green sili and season with salt depending on your taste. Simmer for another 2 minutes in low heat.

Serving size: 4-6
