This recipe is good for vegetarian since meat has been replaced with tofu or tokwa.
Here's an easy recipe of ginisang pechay you can cook for less than 30 minutes.
Ginisang Pechay
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kilo pechay, chopped
- 5 pcs. tokwa, fried and cut into dice.
- 2 pcs. tomatoes, chopped
- 1 medium-sized onion, minced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- oil for sauteing
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Saute onion, garlic and tomatoes.
- Add pechay and 1/4 cup of water.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Bring to boil and simmer until the pechay is cooked.
- Add fried tokwa and simmer for another minute.
Serving size: 3-4
