Ingredients:

  • 1 kilo pork chop
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 4 to 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp chili powder, optional

Directions:

  1. Marinade pork with the ingredients for at least 4 hours. 
  2. Grill over charcoal or indoor using stove top griller.
  3. Serve with hot rice, soy sauce with calamansi or vinegar and grilled eggplant.

Ingredients
  • 1 whole ripe mango peeled and seed removed
  • 1/2 box all purpose cream
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cups graham crackers, crushed
  • Ice cubes

Directions:
  1. In a blender, put all the ingredients and mix until ice becomes fine
  2. Put in a mason jar or glass then topped with crushed graham.

  • 1 kilo chicken feet
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1  garlic, minced
  • 1 medium-sized onion, minced
  • 2-3 pcs laurel leaves (bayleaf)
  • 1 tsp rosemary, optional
  • 2-3 pcs of siling labuyo depending on your spicy prefenrence

Directions:
  1. In a pot, place all ingredients.
  2. Bring to boil then simmer until sauce thickens.
  3. Serve topped with toasted garlic.

Carbonara + Homemade Pizza Recipe



Cooking is one of the things we love to do. Eating is another thing, haha!

Seriously, home cooked meal is always the best right? So instead of buying from fast food restaurant, we just cook carbonara + pizza at home.

Carbonara is an Italian pasta dish from Rome made with egg, hard cheese, guanciale, and pepper.  Carbonara is creamy white unlike the red-orange color of spaghetti.

Pizza is another is another savory dish of Italian origin. For us, pizza is best paired with pasta like carbonara.

Although we like dining out at our favorite pizza parlor, when we crave for pizza we simply do it at home using bread slices as its dough.

Below are easy recipe of carbonara and homemade pizza that you can make at home. For sure, your family will enjoy these.

Carbonara
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 kilo spaghetti noodles
  • 1 cup all purpose cream
  • 1 medium-sized onion, minced
  • 1 medium-sized bell pepper, minced
  • 1 cup cooked ham, chopped
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbs cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese, additional for toppings
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
  1. Cook spaghetti noodles according to packaging direction. Set aside
  2. In a pan, sautee onion and bell pepper in butter and cooking oil mixture. Adding cooking oil will prevent the butter from immediate burning.
  3. Add all purpose cream and simmer.
  4. Add cooked ham and grated cheese.
  5. Continue simmer until sauce thickens.
  6. Add cooked pasta and mix well.
Serve topped with grated cheese.

Homemade Pizza

Ingredients:
  • 6 slices loaf bread
  • 1 pack Del Monte Italian Pizza Sauce
  • Grated cheese
  • Hotdogs, sliced thinly
  • Pineapple chunks
  • Fresh Basil leaves

Directions:
  1. Pre-heat oven at 150C.
  2. Line greased baking pan with loaf bread. This will be the pizza crust.
  3. Spread enough Del Monte Itallian Pizza Sauce on the crust.
  4. Place the remaining ingredients ( Grated cheese, hotdogs, pineapple chunks, basil leaf) as toppings.
  5. Cook in the oven fro 10-15 minutes.
  6. Serve while hot.

Adobo sa Dilaw Recipe

Adobo is one of the famous Filipino dishes. Most common ingredients for adobo is either chicken or pork meat. However, there are also vegetables that can be cooked as adobo like sitaw and kangkong.

Cooking adobo the usual way by using soy sauce, vinegar and pepper can be modified.

Adobo sa dilaw is one way to put twist on this Filipino dish. Why adobo sa dilaw? Simply turning the color of the usual adobo from brownish to yellowish.

Using turmeric and patis replace the soy sauce.

Adobo sa Dilaw Recipe


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 kilo pork or chicken
  • 2 cups potato, peeled and chunked (about 8 pcs)
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 2-3 pcs laurel leaves
  • 2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1-2 tbsps patis
  • 1-2 tbsp vinegar.
  • Cooking oil for sauteeing
  • thumb-sized ginger, minced (optional if using Chicken meat)

Directions:
  1. Saute onion, garlic (and ginger).
  2. Add chicken or pork meat, fish sauce, laurel leaves, ground pepper and turmeric powder.
  3. Continue sauteeing until meat turns light brown.
  4. Drop in potatoes and let it simmer until potatoes are already cooked.
  5. Add vinegar and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve with hot rice.
Serving size: 3-4
